Scholarship Program for Future Educators

 

 This Long Island Learning Institute for Educators, LLC Scholarship Program has been established for high school seniors who plan to enroll in a declared full-time undergraduate educational program at an accredited four-year college or university with the primary objective of obtaining a degree in teaching.

 Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, disability or national origin.

Eligibility

Applicants to the Long Island Learning Institute for Educators, LLC Scholarship Program  must:

                  

Award

One scholarship in the amount of $500  will be awarded.    Award is for undergraduate study only.

 

 

Application

Interested students must complete the attached application and mail it along with a complete transcript of grades and an essay, no later than March 1.

 

Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information.  Applications are evaluated on the information supplied; therefore, it is important to answer all questions as completely as possible.  All information received is considered confidential and is reviewed only Long Island Learning Institute for Educators, LLC.

 

For an application to be considered complete by Long Island Learning Institute for Educators, LLC, it must include all supporting documents.

Selection of Recipient

Scholarship recipient is selected on the basis of academic record, strength of character, participation in home, school and community activities, and an essay. 

 

Payment of Scholarships

Long Island Learning Institute for Educators, LLC processes scholarship payment and is delivered certified mail to recipient’s home address or delivered in person.  Checks are made payable to the school for the student.

 

 

Revisions

Long Island Learning Institute for Educators, LLC reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time, including termination of the program.

 

 

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

ü  Yes, you must have both a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) and minimum combined SAT Math and SAT Verbal scores equal to 900 to apply to the program.

ü  You must take your SAT test and have the results by the application deadline date. 

ü  Your application must include the following:
