What Educators Are Saying about our courses |
||
| Contemporary Adolescent Literature:
This being my first lilieonline.com course, I didn't know what to expect. The bad news: this course took as much time and effort as 2 others I was taking simultaneously. The outside reading time, correspondence and website/clip viewing was extensive. I have never worked so hard for in-service credit. The good news: I enjoyed every minute of it. I will add the books to my professional collection and recommend them extensively. I have taken on-line courses before, but never felt so engaged. The district got more than its money's worth. My time and money was well spent. Thank you for organizing and facilitating. |

| Computer Utilization and Literacy
I enjoyed learning excel and PowerPoint. Hal's video instructional site was the most effective online teaching I have encountered. These resources will definitely help me to become a better teacher. I know students are engaged more when we use technology. Thanks to Hal, I can't wait to use technology more in my classroom. I would love to continue to learn about Microsoft Office and creating WebQuest. Perhaps we can get LILIE to offer more online courses on Microsoft Office. I Thank Hal for sharing his knowledge of computer technology with us. I look forward to take more courses with him in the near future. |

| Autism and Today’s Classroom
I really enjoyed this course. In the short time I have learned so much about Autism and the Autism Spectrum including Asperger's Syndrome. By being forced to log on 4 times a week I have really immersed myself into the topic and my teaching will truly benefit. I think John Kelsch was a great facilitator of conversations that sparked worthy debates and enjoyable professional discussions. He made time to respond to each of us individually just like he would in an in-class setting. The course was outlined very clearly and it was well-known to all participants what was needed to complete the coursework in a timely fashion. The web page was extremely helpful as a resource to refer back to frequently. The time spent on doing my case study on "Billy" was well spent and I know he will benefit from my newly founded knowledge for the rest of the school year. |
